Athletes and parents, please come join us for an event where experts in nutrition, sports psychology, health & wellness, and empowerment, who are also champion and elite track & field and cross country athletes, share their knowledge, advice, and tips & strategies for keeping our young female runners healthy, safe and successful on their individual journeys.
I have coached middle and high school age female runners for the past 15 years. Increasingly alarmed by health and safety risks I see that are based on widespread lack or misinterpretation of information, imbalance of power, and lack of tools necessary for the mental and physical health and safety of these young athletes, I have organized this conference as an opportunity for experts to teach the athletes directly and answer their questions on these issues to help keep them safe and healthy in their running careers.
